Keeping Bees

Our Association

The BSBKA, the Blandford and Sturminster Beekeepers Association, is based in Shillingstone. We have a number of hives in our apiary there which are used for practical beekeeping, and of course for producing honey. Theory sessions and general meetings take place in the SCC (Shillingstone Church Centre), and BBQs and roast dinners in nearby pubs. THe association is made up of beekeepers who enjoy the company of other beekeepers and there is always a worm welcome here.
