North Dorset Honey Bee Centre

A safe learning space for all

A purpose-built teaching space, clubhouse and  beehives, accessible to all ages and abilities, providing a safe environment where visitors can observe and learn about bees both inside and out.

The Centre will be eco-friendly, built to minimise its impact on the environment, with level access and parking for 20 cars, an education room, kitchen and toilets, including disabled facilities.

The bee population has been in long-term decline in the UK since the 1970s and needs all the support we can give them to ensure that they continue to thrive. So it’s vital to help in any way we can, through training new beekeepers and educating children and young people about their role in our changing environment.

We are trying to raise £250,000 to construct the Bee Centre, and we would really appreciate any donation towards it.
