Our New Home - the North Dorset Honey Bee Centre
A safe learning space for all
A purpose-built teaching space, clubhouse and beehives, accessible to all ages and abilities, providing a safe environment where visitors can observe and learn about bees both inside and out.
The Centre has been constructed to be eco-friendly, to minimise its impact on the environment, with level access and parking for 20 cars, an education room, kitchen and toilets, including disabled facilities.
After successfully meeting our funding goal, construction on the Bee Centre started late 2024. Most of the building work is now complete and we are officially opening the centre on the 9th May 2026.
